Minimalist Handmade Homewares

This beautiful pottery range was designed as a modern refresh of traditional coastal and farmhouse ceramic designs. I wanted to capture the calming influences of beachside dwellings and coastal influences, creating the perfect balance between rustic stoneware pottery and contemporary, neutral design.

Modern Coastal-Designed Pottery

A combination of sand-coloured stoneware clay, handmade off-white slipware made from natural white clay, and a transparent matt glaze form the base of the design. The slipware is brushed on artistically, following the form and lines of each piece and creating a soft, fluid look. A dramatic dash of dark ink blue is then marked on each piece, transforming the collection into a calm and contemporary set of homewares.
