Coastal Stoneware Ceramics

Inspired by the beauty of the coast, the ceramic dip bowls are decorated with a chalk-white slip; hand-painted in broad strokes to mimic the swell of the rolling ocean.

The calming neutral tones are fresh and modern – ideal for everyday dining and special occasions in the contemporary farmhouse kitchen.

Like the other coordinating items in the White Impatience collection, an ink-blue dot is applied in the centre, adding dramatic contrast to the Nordic softness of the range.

Handcrafted Dip and Tapas Bowls

I pair the prep bowls after hand-throwing and glazing them from my pottery studio in Devon. I work exclusively with Cornish stoneware clay sourced from a local family business.

The beauty of each coupling is always striking; gentle and unassuming on their own, there is magic when they come together as a set of two bowls, perfectly matched but deliberately uneven – and always intentionally made.
