White and Blue Bows with Coastal Influences

Each white and blue bowl is thrown using a stunning sandy stoneware clay and finished with broad strokes of white slip. A matt glaze gives each individually crafted bowl a thoroughly modern feel. A striking blue smudge is added to the centre of the bowl, a dramatic note that defines the soft, Scandi influences, adding gravitas to the whirls of white.

Pairing the deliberate wonkiness of my handmade work, with which I experience each stoneware bowl form organically, the neutral colourway presents a satisfyingly modern ease, perfect for formal and informal dining throughout the day.

Natural variations occur in these handmade bowls, marked with their creation, which forms ceramic bowls that are charming, aesthetic and hard-wearing.

Mindfully Crafted Stoneware Dinnerware

Working in small batches, I form each hand-thrown piece from my Devonshire pottery studio. Working with a local family business, I have sourced the highest quality stoneware clay that creates dinnerware to last.

By producing in small, artisanal quantities, the handcrafted bowls are all perfect standalone pieces that, when paired with other items in the White Impatience collection, become something truly remarkable.
