Tiny Ceramic Bowls in Brown and Grey
My set of three tiny bowls is ideal as an everyday object for life or as decorative ornaments in a conscious, rustic home. With a Japanese-inspired natural look with light brown and darker accents, these are the finest modern rustic pots, encapsulating art and practicality in their very form.

Mini Bowls Inspired by Wabi-Sabi Art
The exterior of the bowls is decorated with a lovely matte glaze that overlays purposeful strokes of dark, natural slipware. Playing with the light and shadows derived directly from beneath the earth, the pattern of the ceramic bowls is imbued with wabi-sabi principles that explore the ever-moving constant of nature against its unrelenting rawness.
Rich, earthy tones of grey, brown, white and black play with the changeable form of each bowl. Some are swathed in lightness, offset with tiny moments of contrast. Others look almost burned, the darker shades of grey and brown emphasising the rawness found in ceramicware created as it should be.
Uniquely Handcrafted Ceramics from Devon
Allowing the clay to surprise me, I work instinctively in my Devonshire pottery studio, communicating with the Cornish stoneware that forms the foundations of my work. Creating the body of the piece, I allow natural curvatures and lines to appear. This deliberate wonkiness recognises the stoicism of imperfection, allowing each unique tiny ceramic bowl to enhance the character of the clay through its own unique identity.
