Earth-Enthused Ceramics

Grey Coincidence is a limited-edition collection of one-of-a-kind handcrafted clay ceramics in dark, earthy tones of grey, brown, and black. The colours are generated with studio-made slipware made from natural clays, which add to the rustic look of my work.

Please note that your stoneware teapot may not be pictured. Every teapot in the Grey Coincidence collection is a one-of-a-kind item that can never, by the very nature of handcrafting, be repeated. But rest assured that I create every piece with the same focus on aesthetic balance and creative expression.

Modern Rustic Teapots Handcrafted in Devon

I create small-batch ceramic collections using Cornish stoneware clay sourced responsibly from a local family business.

I use a palette of darker and lighter shades of natural colours such as brown and grey to hand-paint slipware over each pot. On the outside, these colours merge together, producing light and shadow across the grooves and verges generated during the casting process.

Like every other piece in the Grey Coincidence range, these rustic stoneware teapots have subtle variations, making them true one-of-a-kind art objects. So, anybody who orders a pot from me will receive an original piece, hand-picked for them.
