Pottery Mugs from a Modern Pottery Studio

I create small-batch ceramic collections using locally produced Cornish stoneware clay.

As with every piece I create, each colorful pottery mug is imbued with subtle variations and unpredictability. Knowing that every person who chooses my work will own a unique collection of pottery across the Merry Mustard range's coordinating items is very special.

These subtle differences across my rustic pottery mugs are how I share my relationship with the clay with you. Using clay from nearby Cornwall enhances my bond with the material so that I can work intuitively and sensitively with it. When I sit at the wheel, I am free to enjoy the innocence of clay as it forms, creating the artisanal individuality that the studio is known for until it reaches your hands.
